OK here's my understanding
"I cant compare to other lenses, because this is my first time. I already tried the lenses on at my doctors, but I called lensdiscounters customer service to find out more. They were very helpful. Basically, a toric lens corrects astigmatism. This type of lens holds a certain rotation on the eye to accomplish this. Different types of lenses all have a different rotation, fit and feel. This lens fits me very well, and I can see perfect. This can be the case for others, however the point is to get fitted by your doctor first to ensure the best results. There could be other, cheaper lenses that work, but you have to ask your doctor to get you the trial lens first. I am just going to stick to these because they work great for me."
